Automatic Delivery: Murphy's Fuel will automatically calculate a set degree-day on each automatic customer based on your first two deliveries. After the second delivery, Murphy's automatically delivers your fuel during the week your degree-day number is achieved. It is our responsibility to guarantee that you never run out of oil. Our 24-hour service will ensure that you are never left out in the cold. Automatic customers will be our first priority during any oil crises or allocations set on oil companies. To qualify for Automatic delivery, you must keep a major credit card number locked in your account to ensure delivery. This must be a major credit card "Not" a check banking card. This credit card number will be checked for authorization before each delivery to ensure it is still active. It is your responsibility to call us if you have changed credit cards or if the card expires. Automatic Delivery will be canceled if the credit card is not active. All bills must be paid in full within 15 days of delivery or all charges go on your credit card with an additional 5% processing fee on the 31st day.
15 Day Billing Accounts: Murphy's Fuel will deliver your oil on any given day when you call us. Most accounts are delivered the same day if your order is in before noon. We will attach the bill (with a return envelope) to your door on the day of delivery. You have 15 days to send us your full payment with no interest charges. To qualify for a 15 Day Billing Account, you must keep a major credit card number locked in your account to ensure delivery. This must be a major credit card "Not" a check banking card. This credit card number will be checked for authorization before each delivery to ensure it is still active. It is your responsibility to call us if you have changed credit cards or if the card expires. If the delivery is not paid within 15 days. The total bill plus a 5% processing fee will be charged on the credit card.
Budget Billing: Our budget plan lets you spread your heating oil cost over 10 months. (May - Feb) This budget plan also includes a lock in rate (When Available) with Automatic delivery. This program protects you from large unexpected bills and spikes in the fuel oil market. We will decide what your monthly budget payment will be by multiplying your yearly oil consumption by the predicted market price per gallon for the following heating season, and then divide it into 10 monthly payments. This may not be the lock in price for the heating season. You will decide what day of the month you would like the payment to be due by and it should be sent in by that day of every month. If your monthly payments are not made on time or missed, the lock-in price and automatic delivery can be canceled at any time. We will send you a contract explaining the budget plan to be signed and mailed back to use with your first months payment. When we receive that we will send out the 10 envelopes for each month that are due on the day of the month that you have chosen. At the end of the 10 month pay period you may have a credit or balance. The balance must be paid in full by April 30th.
Will Call: Murphy's Fuel will deliver your oil on a COD basis only. Most orders are delivered the same day during the winter months if your order is in before noon of that day. All other orders will be delivered on the next business day. Payment must be made at the address the day of delivery. We accept checks, money orders, cash, or credit cards. Checks must have the correct name address, and telephone number of the account holder. No third-party checks will be accepted unless approved by our office personnel be for the scheduled delivery.
Lock In/Fixed Price: ( When Available )
Murphy's Fuel will pre buy fuel oil for you so that you can pay one low rate for your heating oil all winter long (Nov-April). That means no matter how high the market prices rise this winter, you will stay protected with our Fixed/ Lock In rate.
Automatic Delivery With Price Protection: ( When Available ) Our price protection program will protect you from rising energy cost. This program will cap your fuel price for the winter months only November-April. The benefit of price capping is you will never pay more than your cap price and could possibly pay a lower price if energy cost fall during that heating season. Price capping is for automatic delivery customers only that meet our terms and conditions. Your automatic delivery is renewed annually unless given a 30 day written notice. Your price cap is valid for one heating season only. The price cap will vary from season to season and you must sign an Automatic Delivery Contract. To qualify for Automatic delivery, you must keep a major credit card number locked in your account to ensure delivery. This must be a major credit card "Not" a check banking card. Separate Charges CREDIT CARDS: Credit cards declined after your 15 day interest free grace period will be charged $25 and should be paid by cash or money order.
CHECKS: Checks returned for "NSF" will be charged a $25 fee. Checks will not be re-deposited a second time and balance must be paid by cash or money order within 10 days of notification. Checks returned on "Closed Accounts" will automatically go straight to the district attorneys office with numerous charges attached. There are no exceptions at all. |
